Yasir Ansari is an award-winning international educator with a distinguished career in the U.S., where he worked at several state universities. His journey began as an international student, with aspirations of becoming a filmmaker. However, life had different plans for him. He transitioned into higher education, starting his career at Southeast Missouri State University before moving to Kansas State University, where he served as an International Student Support Coordinator. During this time, he witnessed firsthand the challenges universities face in international student recruitment, sparking his drive to create a better, more transparent system.

Recognizing the need for ethical and sustainable recruitment practices, Yasir made the bold decision to return to India. In 2016, he founded Simpled, a platform dedicated to transforming international student recruitment through integrity, accessibility, and inclusivity.

Yasir’s academic background also includes a B.Sc. from the State University of New York at Oneonta and an M.B.A. from Southeast Missouri State University, equipping him with strong leadership and global education expertise.

His dedication to fostering inclusive educational opportunities has earned him multiple accolades, including the Outstanding Young Alumni Award from the SUNY Oneonta Alumni Association and the Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion Award in 2008. In 2012, he received the Young Alumni Merit Award from Harrison College of Business at SEMO.

Today, as the CEO of Simpled, Yasir continues to lead with a mission to revolutionize international education, ensuring that universities and students alike benefit from ethical, transparent, and commission-free recruitment practices. His unwavering commitment to education, diversity, and student advocacy makes him a respected leader in the field, shaping the future of global higher education.
