WHAT IS INDIA PROGRAM?

Join Simpled Student Recruitment Tours and Community Colleges for International Development (CCID) for this one-of-a-kind 7-day engagement trip to India focused on advocacy and growing international student enrollments at your institution.

​

The purpose of this program is threefold: firstly, to mobilize a team of professionals from community colleges to meet with U.S. and Indian government agencies in New Delhi to tackle the issues facing local colleges, secondly to connect you directly with prospective students through a series of quality high school visits, and thirdly to connect you with key stakeholders in the Indian education landscape to empower you to strategize and navigate the region better.

Mumbai City

New Delhi

Delhi is the capital territory of the Republic of India. It is the most populous city and second most populous urban agglomeration in India and 3rd largest urban area in the world. After Mumbai, Delhi has the second-highest number of billionaires and millionaires among all cities in India. As per provisional reports of Census India,
the population of Delhi in 2011 is 11,034,555. Delhi contributes a GDP of 75 billion.
Delhi and its urban region have been given the special status of National Capital Region (NCR) under the Constitution of India.

Gurugram

Gurgaon, officially named Gurugra, is a city located in the northern Indian state of Haryana. It is one of the major satellite cities of Delhi and is part of the National Capital Region of India. As of 2011, Gurgaon had a population of 1,153,000.

Gurgaon is India's second-largest information technology hub and third-largest financial and banking hub. Gurgaon is also home to India's largest medical tourism industry. Gurgaon serves as the headquarters of many of India's largest companies, is home to thousands of startup companies and has local offices for more than 250 Fortune 500 companies.

Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad is a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is sometimes referred to as the "Gateway of UP" because it is close to New Delhi, on the main route into Uttar Pradesh. It is a part of the National Capital Region of Delhi. It is a large and planned industrial city, well connected by roads and railways, and is the administrative headquarters of Ghaziabad District as well as being the primary commercial, industrial and educational centre of western Uttar Pradesh and a majorrail junction for North India.
