Empowering Global MBA & STEM Programs

On July 10, Simpled hosted an Info Session that covered insights on recruiting top talent from India into elite MBA and Master's in Engineering & AI programs. Led by Yasir Ansari, the session was an overview in how to build real connections with the future leaders of the global workforce.

Tour Details: Cities & Dates

During the session, Yasir Ansari introduced the full schedule for the upcoming MBA and STEM Recruitment Tour, taking place from September 7 to 15, 2025. The tour will cover four major cities in India Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Pune each selected for their strong academic ecosystems and high interest in international graduate programs.

Yasir walked attendees through the structure of the tour: starting with an orientation and welcome dinner in Delhi, followed by a series of institutional visits across all four cities. The schedule includes a balance of student interaction, travel logistics, and a designated free day to allow participants to rest and recalibrate. Throughout the tour, Simpled will handle all on-ground arrangements, ensuring a smooth and focused experience for institutional representatives.

Fairs Vs Tours

  • Targeted Engagement Over Broad Exposure

    • Quality over quantity: Direct visits let you engage with pre-qualified, relevant students rather than casting a wide net at fairs.

    • Meet students who are already in the academic pipeline (final-year undergrads or master’s students in related fields).

    • Focus on students from specific departments or majors aligned with your graduate offerings (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Business).

  • Deeper Conversations, Higher Conversion

    • Allows for in-depth, program-specific conversations vs. quick, surface-level chats at crowded booths.

    • Better opportunity to explain nuanced offerings like research, faculty, assistantships, and STEM OPT.

    • More time to address questions around career outcomes, visa, housing, funding, etc. — all key for graduate students.

  • Bypass the Noise

    • Fairs are often over-saturated with institutions competing for attention in a chaotic environment.

    • Your message can easily get lost in the crowd.

    • Direct campus visits allow you to own the room — whether in a classroom, auditorium, or department seminar.

How We Select Institutions

Yasir then outlined a core element of Simpled’s methodology — the careful, criteria-based selection of institutions included in each tour. This isn’t a random process; it’s designed to ensure relevance, impact, and alignment between participating universities and student expectations.

The selection is guided by four key criteria:

  • University Leadership: Institutions with forward-thinking, internationally minded leadership are prioritized to ensure a meaningful and productive experience.

  • Language Proficiency: Clear communication and support for international students is essential, and language readiness plays a key role.

  • Paying Capacity: Simpled considers the economic viability of institutions to maintain sustainability and long-term success.

  • Trends in Outbound Mobility: Preference is given to institutions with a proven or emerging trend of students pursuing education abroad.

Yasir also shared essential tour statistics: over 20 institutional visits across 3–4 cities, with a strict cap on participating schools. This deliberate limitation ensures each institution receives focused attention and meaningful engagement — a clear reflection of Simpled’s commitment to quality over quantity.
